Wow! 2017 was an incredible year for movies. In the 5 years I’ve been making my top 10 list, this has been the hardest list to compile. Movies I thought for sure would be on the list when seeing them, are not on the list, I just don’t have room. Before my list here are a few honourable mentions:
War for the Planet of the Apes
Any other year these movies would be on my list, but this year was just so good, I can’t find a place for them. Now on to the list.

Then I watched the first episode. Oh boy, what a hot mess that first episode is. Continue reading
This Friday marks the release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, a sequel we all wanted right? I mean, the first one was so good, we just had to have a sequel! I’m not particularly looking forward to the release, but since it is based off a comic book, here are my picks for the best and worst comic book movies.
The Dark Knight was such an incredible achievement all across the board. It proved that comic book movies can be more than just Continue reading
The Truman Show stars Jim Carrey, Laura Linney, and Ed Harris, and tells the story of a man who lives a rather ordinary life, but wants to become more. He soon finds out however, that his entire life is not what it seems to be and he sets out on a mission to discover the truth.
The Truman Show overflows with different ideas on how we view television, reality TV, celebrities, and life. The movie constantly shows viewers entranced by the television, watching Truman’s every move. Continue reading
With the recent release of the live-action Beauty and the Beast trailer and the upcoming release of Alice Through the Looking Glass, I wanted to talk about my favorite and least favorite animated Disney movie. I would have done best/worst live-action Disney remake, but there’s not much to choose from. So here are my best and worst of the Disney Animated movies.
