Let’s face it, the majority of the blockbuster movies this year ranged from “meh, it was ok” to “pretty disappointing.” However, that didn’t stop it from being a very good year for movies and this year delivered! Of course I wasn’t able to see every movie that came out this year, but from what I have seen, these are my picks for the best movies of the year.
With the recent release of Captain America: Civil War or as some are calling it, Avengers 2.5, many Marvel fans like to look back at the movies that came before. While Marvel has had it’s ups and downs for the most part, they’ve been very solid. Here are my rankings from my least favorite to my favorite Marvel movie.
Note: I have not seen Iron Man 2 or The Incredible Hulk.
After a string of mostly mediocre to disappointing movies, Marvel has once again struck a home run with its latest movie, Captain America: Civil War. Civil War hits on all levels. It’s a great action movie, a great comic book movie, and a great dramatic piece. A lot of people like to throw out phrases like, “Best movie ever made,”or “Best movie I’ve ever seen in my life,” and while the movie is far from being the best movie of all time, it’s certainly one of the best superhero movies we’ve ever had.
